Thanks for joining me!  I entered a new stage of life recently when I completed my consulting obligation to EnergyNext, Inc. the consulting firm I helped start and lead for more than 30 years.  Now, with a bit more latitude to express my interests and commitments, I have begun this blog adventure.

My hope is to spotlight some good things that are happening in and around Saratoga County, New York.  I will prefer to not use this as a soap box to complain, nor as a vehicle for waxing political.  There are plenty of routes for those diversions to be taken.  I have chosen the blog format because I’d like to bring my perspectives to readers in a longer form than Facebook or Instagram favor.

At the start, I intend to post no more than weekly.  So if you are “following” by some means, don’t expect a daily onslaught of commentary.

This week, I have started David Brooks’s new book, “The Second Mountain, The Quest for a Moral Life.” Expect more about that in the near future.
